Waterproof and Easy To Remove Eye Makeup
The terms ‘waterproof and ‘easy to remove’ seems to a bit of an oxymoron when it comes to eye makeup – on one hand, you don’t want your waterproof mascara to wash off in the pool and leave you with raccoon eyes, on the other hand, when you really want to take it off at night, nothing short of a scouring pad will do.
Even so-called washable, non-waterproof brands need a proper makeup remover to take off – washing with just water still leaves ugly mascara/liner streaks behind.
Tube Your Lashes
The new generation of waterproof mascaras form ‘tubes’ around your lashes instead of painting them. Once they’re set on your lashes, they’re very waterproof – which means you can go swimming with it on.
To remove, soak a cotton pad or face flannel in reasonably hot water, apply it to your lashes for about 10 seconds and wipe away. You will see the mascara come off in little tubes.
